Prior to 2014, many runways and stadiums used rubber particles from recycled tires, cable skins, and soles. These waste rubber materials contained hazardous substances that could cause PAHs to exceed safety standards, leading to health issues in educational facilities.

Modern EPDM colored rubber particles offer significant advantages including health safety, non-toxicity, environmental friendliness, and durability. They are widely used in plastic tracks, basketball courts, tennis courts, gymnasiums, community leisure areas, and kindergarten safety zones.
